Course Description:


This training, designed for First Responders, aims to provide an overview of mental health challenges that Veterans and First Responders may experience, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Suicide prevention techniques and strategies are also covered.  The goal of this training is to help improve engagement strategies when working with Veterans or First Responders who may be in crisis, to strengthen the collaboration between first responders and VA staff, and to help improve access to care.


**Please note:  Registration is limited to 50 students.**
