Course Description:  As our society becomes more impacted by trauma, critical incidents, media influence, and violence towards law enforcement, it is imperative to seek new knowledge on the potential consequences of serving in this field. This workshop will provide a deeper understanding and updates on these stressors, PTSD, and suicide among law enforcement, including diagnostic symptoms, crisis behaviors, case studies, and effective approaches for prevention and intervention.  Specific stress management approaches for police leaders will be presented.
