The Pensacola Police Department will host a training session conducted by the FBI’s Negotiators and SWAT Operators on Oct 28th, 2016. The free training will be
limited to the first 300 people who sign up with a deadline of Oct. 14th for registration. It will start at 8AM and end at 5PM with an hour break for lunch. The training location will be Pensacola State College’s Ashmore Auditorium.
The case study will be the abduction of a young boy, from a school bus in Midland City, Alabama on January 29, 2013. FBI Agent Susan Hanson will discuss the negotiation side of the incident, assisted by Capt. Bill Rafferty of the Houston County S.O. The Mobile FBI SWAT will present the tactical side of the training.
