De-Escalation: Theory and Practice [External Training]

Students completing this training will acquire the skills necessary to reduce the risks inherent in situations involving subjects with mental illness, PTSD or developmental disorders such as Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

Through the use of and focus on de-escalation theory and techniques students will demonstrate improved communication and problem solving skills.
