Join us for a one-of-a-kind experience to get a behind the scenes look at the tactics,

SOPs, and lessons learned from the Officer in Charge of LAPD’s Metropolitan Division’s

D Platoon (SWAT).

Lt. Ruben Lopez retired in January of 2024 and had commanded the SWAT team since 2008.  He’ll be conducting a tactical debrief of several high profile incidents and sharing details not made available publicly. You will learn practical lessons from those events that you can use to improve the effectiveness of your operators and your team.
