Course Description:
CNT operations depend upon the timely collection of relevant and accurate information. Having a focused program of intelligence gathering can determine whether people live or die. This course provides participants with an overview of the intelligence collection process, methods for prioritizing data needs, and techniques for extracting vital information from key sources including hostages, witnesses, and associates. The open-minded and sometimes loosely structured approach to negotiations can be a detriment or a contributor to success. Striking a balance with team structure and discipline provides a definite strategic advantage during high-intensity operations.
This course focuses on traditional CNT roles and how innovation and adaptability improve organization, achievement, and success while increasing speed, synergy, and negotiator morale.
